ERIN MALLON is an actor, writer and voice artist in NYC. Her naturally warm personality and youthful sound have proven excellent tools for the many young adult and romance titles she narrates. She has originated roles in the theater with Ensemble Studio Theater's Youngblood Company, The Drilling Company, Mabou Mines, Incubator Arts Project and many more. KEVIN R. FREE has appeared on national television in commercials and on NBC’s Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU. New York audiences have seen Mr. Free Off-Broadway, creating the role of Memphis in From My Hometown both for Amas Musical Theatre and at the Gramercy Theatre, for which he was nominated for an Audelco Award. He was also seen Off-Broadway at the York Theatre in Taking A Chance On Love, and as Bubber Brown in The New Federal Theatre’s acclaimed The Conjure Man Dies. He has been featured in concerts with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and with the education department of Symphony Space. Mr. Free has performed regionally in many places, including his home state of North Carolina at Charlotte Repertory Theatre (Belize in Angels in America, Paul in Six Degrees of Separation) and at the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival (Francis Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ariel in The Tempest). JULIA MOTKYA is an actor, producer, teacher, and narrator with a national reputation and over a decade of professional experience. As an actor she has appeared off-broadway and in some of the nation's top regional theatres, receiving awards in San Francisco, and Denver, as well as an LA Weekly award nomination for her work. As a producer, her company (Red Griffin Media)’s fledgling production ROOMS: A Rock Romance was nominated for three 2009 Outer Critics Circle Awards. As an educator, she has created programming and taught for numerous organizations nationwide and is currently a proud ASTEP volunteer. She's a member of The Actor's Center and an associate member of The Pacific Resident Theatre Co. Fun facts and special skills: she's near fluent in French; has extensive dialect training in most European (Eastern and Western), American, and some Asian accents; has lived in London so can do British Isles accents as a native speaker. TIM GERARD REYNOLDS trained for the stage at the Samuel Beckett Center, Trinity College Dublin, and the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, New London, CT. His acting work has taken him from the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, to the London fringe, the Official Avignon Theatre Festival, and to the U.S., where he participated in regional theater, as well as on and off Broadway. In recent years, Tim has become an established audiobook narrator, working predominantly for Recorded Books and Simon & Schuster Audio. Titles include, but are not limited to, “The Legend of Broken,” by Caleb Carr, “The Heather Blazing,” by Colm Tóibín, “The Infernals,” by John Connolly, the latter half of Hugh Howey’s epic Sci-Fi series "Wool," and Michael J. Sullivan’s best-selling “Riyria Revelations.” In 2010, he received an Audiofile Earphone award for the thriller “Faithful Place,” by Tana French and his performance was named one of the best audiobooks of that year. In 2013 he was nominated for an Audie Award—the industry’s highest—for work in the Fantasy genre. Tim is very happy to be part of Brick Shop Audio's roster of talent.
JENNIFER O’DONNELL ... Armed with a Highlights Magazine and a dream, Jennifer produced, directed and (of course) starred in her first play at the ripe old age of 8. Since then, she has worked as an actor and director Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway and nowhere near Broadway. She has narrated over 100 audiobooks including the Molly Fyde series for acclaimed science fiction writer, Hugh Howey and the The Arrangement series for New York Times best selling romance author, H.M. Ward. Jennifer has done voice imaging work with Maverick Media and has voiced several radio commercials and cartoon spots. She lives in Brooklyn and likes all the usual things; coffee, puppies, rainbows and beef jerky.
PAUL L. COFFEY is a classically trained actor who received his M.F.A. from the Brown University/Trinity Rep Graduate Acting Program. A native New Yorker, Paul has performed Off-Broadway and at regional theaters across the country. He is a member of Fiasco Theater and Ensemble Studio Theatre.
ROB GRANNISS is an audio engineer and producer living in Brooklyn, NY. He performed as Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream in high school, then took a brief hiatus for 20 years, which involved producing music then audiobooks. Now he's on the "other side of the glass" and narrates. Credits include: Avogadro Corp by William Hertling and Written in Blood by Diane Fanning. His specialties include conveying sense when authors use dense technical jargon and flat delivery of sarcastic dialog. He can perform southern, general American, and NY accents.
JANE CRAMER is an audiobook narrator and radio producer living in Brooklyn. She is proud to have voiced over thirty titles, some romantic, some informative, all with a careful hand. AMANDA SAYLE is a New York-based actor and voiceover artist. She has recorded commercial VO for such companies as Bloomingdale's, Apple, and Vh1, among others, and has appeared on television (recurring on Guiding Light), in independent films (The Return Address was an Official Selection at Cannes), and Off-Broadway, as well as on stages nationwide as a touring teaching artist.
JENNETTE SELIG grew up in Iowa and Kansas before graduating with honors from the Department of Theatre at The University of Kansas. She has worked as a v/o artist, documentary narrator, theater educator and stage actress in the Midwest, New Jersey, and—most recently—in New York City, where she has lived for the past 10 years. Jennette made her NY stage debut in Epic Theater Ensemble's Antigone in Progress, at The Duke on 42nd Street. More recently, she was featured in Title:Point Production's play, Field 309. She has performed as a soprano with the West Village Chorale. At home on either side of the microphone, Jennette directed and engineered audio books for over five years before becoming an audio book narrator. She has also provided volunteer narrations for the website Librivox.org, which aims to record every book in the public domain. Jennette especially enjoys narrating non-fiction books and young adult fiction.
SASKIA MAARLEVELD comes from a large family where audiobooks were the only way to get though car rides without fighting. She attributes this to her love and understanding of reading books aloud. With a full, warm, strong and expressive voice, Saskia is the perfect fit for a variety of audio book genres. Raised in New Zealand and France, her ability with accents and dialects is excellent, with many of her books being narrated entirely in accents other than her own (which is tough!). Based in New York City, Saskia spends her time narrating and trying to stay out of the restaurant business. In addition to this she creates video snacks called ‘Kevin and Phebe’ – very funny for a slow day at the office. MICHAEL BRAUN is an actor and voice artist, born and raised in NYC and living in Brooklyn. Since graduating from the Yale School of Drama, he has performed in many productions in New York and across the country, including War Horse on Broadway, The Winter's Tale directed by Sam Mendes at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Old Vic in London, and the ancient theater in Epidavros, Greece, and The Bad Guys at Second Stage. His television and film credits includeThe Good Wife, Nurse Jackie, Law & Order, Do No Harm, Dare, Incoming and Igby Goes Down. He is a recipient of the Princess Grace Award and the Herschell Williams Prize for Acting.
ADAM CHASE is a classically trained actor having received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and the Kansas City Repertory Theatre in 2006. Having worked in corporate America for several years, Adam broke free and launched himself into the world of audiobooks and voiceovers. He is humbled and thrilled to be among the other talented Brickshop narrators featured here. Adam brings a warm and refined tone to the mix of Brickshop narration having a particular interest in true crime, political and legal thrillers. Adam resides in Manhattan’s West Chelsea neighborhood with his partner, Jeffrey, and Yorkshire Terrier, Bellie.
GRAHAM HALSTEAD is a trained actor and voice artist, born and raised in Virginia, and now living and working in New York City. As an actor Graham has worked internationally in Edinburgh, Scotland and London, England, as well as back home at The Kennedy Center, in Washington, D.C. SARAH NAUGHTON is a New York City based actress, singer, comedienne and voiceover artist. Hailing from upstate New York, Sarah began her work in the audiobook industry in high school, recording a few YA titles (the Audie nominated FAIREST by Gail Carson Levine) with the Syracuse based company, Full Cast Audio. She then moved to New York City to obtain her BFA in drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Since graduating Sarah's passion for narration has been reignited. She recorded a book with Audible (DOOMED by Tracy Deebs) and is absolutely thrilled to be featured on the Brick Shop roster! THERESA BUCHHEISTER is an actor/writer/director/producer from Manhattan, KS. She has been performing and creating theatrical productions and events in NY for ten years, with her company Title:Point (titlepoint.org) and with others (Richard Foreman, Jeff Stark, Harrison David Rivers, Judith Malina, etc), recently and into the future, in residence at The Silent Barn (silentbarn.org). SAMARA NAEYMI is a NY actor and graduate of the University of Kansas Theater Department where she studied vocal performance under the direction of Paul Meier. She is on staff as commercial voice talent for Pandora Radio and has worked in NY as an announcer for the variety show Mamma Rice n' Friends since 2009. She is a curator and producing director of the Obie award winning contemporary theater space, Incubator Arts Project, and works as a freelance producer, consultant and web designer for emerging theater artists and actors. Proficient with accent work, specifically Canadian, dialects of the American South, Boston, NY, Irish, Scottish, British RP, regional dialects of England, Eastern European, Spanish and Persian.
